The extension of the main Whare with a set deadline of 15 weeks which had no flexibility due to the Annual meeting of Ngai Tahu Tribes.
Construction design was delayed due to client’s architects and council consent process.
Farrell Construction rose to this challenge exceeding time, quality and budget expectations.
Treaty of Waitangi protocols were followed with the employment of He Toki apprentices working on this site with Farrell Construction tradesmen developing their education. This relationship is ongoing today with many He Toki apprentices working for Farrell Construction.
The project was managed by project manager Mark Falvey and completed on time, to specification and below budget.
